Standard Features
The Model MQ-12-SERVO Mechanical Quill Unit has many unique design features. The main casting is fine grain cast iron and features interchangeable mounting dimensions with our line of hydraulic quill units.
The ball screw and quill assembly is of one piece construction offering unequaled rigidity, in-line thrust, positive feed rate, and in-line depth control (positive stop). The unit utilizes a servo motor for attaining an easily adjustable range of feed rates.
This unit also features the following items as standard equipment; choice of three spindle constructions, motor bracket assembly, enclosed belt guard, timing belt drive, and three commercial oil tight, plug-in limit switches.
